The Apprentice 2015
The usual shower of fantasists, try-hards and general fuckshovels hit our screens next week and the candidate profiles have now been released.

I wonder if the demise of Stuart "The Brand" Baggs will get a mention?

Very likeable sort of bloke really.

I know a lot comes down to editing, but you were shown him being giving more favourable treatment at the interviews.

Claude basically guided him away from franchising and prompted him to think how to keep the gist of the plan, but develop differently. He didn't guide the Welsh girl the same way. Just said that franchising wouldn't work.

There is no reason why this show should stop as long as actual garbage such as jungle, xfactor, big brother etc are on. At least there is some level of intellect on show here.

I didn't know if it was a fortunate knock-on or a deliberate ploy. I used to have a tache like that when I was about 15.

Of course not, Dr Congo, on account he said as much when he shaved it off.

Re: The Apprentice 2015
I wondered if shaving it off just before the interviews was a way to make him suddenly appear more mature and therefore more to be taken seriously. Or is that reading too much into it?

Glad Joseph won it, does anyone think that someone might have had a word in Joseph's ear about his spiv tache, maybe Sugar thought, I like the bloke but that tache has to go?

Re: The Apprentice 2015
I thought the idea was that he insists on no third-party involvement, didn't someone get booted out a couple of years ago when his plan revealed he was fronting for a bigger group? But hers required getting venture capital in within months because the 250k would only cover the basics?

Re: The Apprentice 2015
I'd rather invest 250k in Joseph or Vana than Lord Sugar.

It's a television programme for entertainment purposes.

Whoever wins it is pretty much irrelevant.

Re: The Apprentice 2015
This is a new low.

He's just given someone a quarter of a million quid to buy more tools and vans to expand an existing small business.

What a load of total bollocks.

What next? The owner of a greasy spoon entering next year so he can open in a new location down the road? A butcher who wants a new set of knives and a new till?

The annoying thing is that this bloke's just won the jackpot. A bog standard plumber whose only contribution was building a wardrobe will probably become a millionaire because of this.

Anyone could start a successful plumbing business with a quarter of a million quid of free money. Completely pointless exercise.

Here's the reason he picked Joe.
He's going after Pimlico Plumbers.
